ARMOR
OF GOD
We put on the whole armor of God so we can stand our ground against the wiles of the devil, and stand we do!
We stand until we win!
We stand, Father, girding our loins with the belt of truth, declaring the
truth has set us free and it keeps us free.
We strap on the breastplate of Your righteousness and stand righteous
before You because Jesus is our Lord.
We shod our feet with preparation and stand ready to spread the Gospel of
Peace. We
declare that we always speak boldly as we ought to speak.
(Eph 6:20)
We take up the shield of faith, declaring our faith is in You, Almighty God, to perform Your Word in us and through us, and with that faith we do quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
For it is written, "No weapon formed against us can prosper".
(Is 54:17)
We put on the helmet of salvation to protect our thoughts from the evil one.
We
cast down every imagination that contradicts the Word of God and we take captive
every thought and make it obedient to Jesus Christ (II Cor 10:5), Whose mind we
have. (I
Cor 2:16)
We take up the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God which is powerful to
the demolishing of enemy strongholds, and with Your Word always in our mouths,
we smite the enemy and crush him under our feet.
(Rom 16:20)
We give ourselves wholly to prayer and entreaty, praying on every
occasion in the power of the Spirit.
We war not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against rulers of darkness of this world and against wicked spirits in
high places.
It is through You, God, we push down these our enemies, and through Your
name, Lord, we trample those who rise up against us.
(Ps 44:5)
Because Your name is supreme above every other name.
(Phi 2:9)
We do not tire in the battle, for Your joy is our strength.
(Neh 8:10)
Though thousands fall at our sides and tens of thousands at our right
hands, we are not touched.
(Ps 91:7)
And the Glory of the Lord is our rear guard.

We do not fret nor do we have anxiety about a single thing, for the peace
of God which passes all understanding, keeps our hearts and minds through Christ
Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

For greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world.

Father, we have put on the whole armor of God, and we have received Your
power to withstand the attack of the evil one and having overthrown them all, to
stand unshaken and victorious before You.
